"You still ought to look good, Einstein."
If you've ever worked with words in the advertising world, at some point, it would surely dawn on you - no matter how clever your writing, it still has to look good. I was in awe of the designers.. lords of the marquees and pixels "Here, take this copy and transform it into a visual experience that'll make us feel good."
And so, I tinkered with design and if I may say, got needlessly good at it. A serious education in Computer Science and an eclectic mix of jobs later, I find myself with what can only be described as a curious (interesting) skill set that sometimes befuddles recruiters: "Are you a programmer or a designer, what's this thing with advertising in your resume. Just what the heck do you do? What can you do for us?" Apparently, quite a bit.
It is my reckoning that knowledge of how technology interacts and integrates with design makes for a better designer. Welcome to my graphic design portfolios.
